"Enough!" She moved in front of Commanders Data and Riker. This being was hostile and she could be just as unfriendly. "We have people who need attention. We won't hurt you, but we must help them!" Before she finished her statement, she was on the move.

The last thing in his memories was the Scimitar exploding. Suddenly being on Vagra II again took even him a moment to adjust to.

His positronic brain was already comparing everything he was seeing to what happened in 2364, and everything was a perfect match. Somehow, he was sent back to that exact time and place. How, or possibly why didn't matter right now, because he had a chance to fix something, something that should not have happened. Tasha's Death.

In precisely 0.9235802 seconds, Armus, the 'skin of evil' left from a race of 'titans' ridding themselves all their negative qualities would kill Lieutenant Tasha Yar with some form of energy discharge as she moves to help the crew of a downed shuttle. One of the advantages of being a Soong-type android was reflexes and speed beyond that of a normal human. He quickly moved in to Lieutenant Yar's path, trying to take the energy discharge instead of her. Hopefully his systems would survive it.

[Running Diagnostic Subroutines ...]

[Damage: Substantial - Require Repairs to Primary and Secondary Power Relays. 20 minutes until emergency shutdown to prevent further damage.]

The energy discharge knocked had knocked him over, doing less damage than anticipated, thankfully. Still, it was not negligible. Commander Riker acted quickly, however, and called for them to be beamed up to the ship. Armus would allow it. The creature wanted to break their spirits in his first encounter, and by leaving them helpless to rescue Councillor Troi, Armus believes that he could do this.

In a flash of light, they are back on board the Enterprise, in Transporter Room 2. His internal sensors register servos groaning in protest as Data gets to his feet on what little power he has left. "My power systems have sustained heavy damage, I believe I require immediate repair ..."

"Thank you Lt. Yar." He says, steadying himself. He could understand how disconcerting seeing his mechanical elements might be for Natasha, given her history, and he appreciates her helping him. He almost didn't notice that he smiled.

The help for Data comes rather quickly in the form of a rather nervous looking La Forge. He is quick to get out his tools, a variety of raw materials, and whatever spare parts he could have grabbed in the instant he heard Data was hurt.

Never let it be said Geordi skimped.

"How're you handling, buddy? Looks like you took a hell of a hit," Geordi says as he gets to work. It looks like a lot of damage to the power relays, but it's easy enough to stabilize those before he needs to replicate proper replacements.

"I believe no permanent damage has been done, although I will require more substantial repairs." Data says, helping Geordi where he can. "I believe the entity on the planet is capable of absorbing and projecting energy, we may need to develop an appropriate counter-measure."

The unofficial diplomat of fifteen years' hence is still a young kitchen staffer opening crates of bloodwine. She's nowhere near the discussion of sensors or official reports, but all it takes is a viewport to be afraid.

Clouds are devouring the stars. And all she can ask the gods as she standsn there is that if they all die today, Kri'Stak should die by his own insane rules and nothing less, something ridiculously violent. Something she can sing for him if the universe hates her enough to leave her alone.

"On screen." the Commander calls, without hesitation. "And give me everything we know about what we're dealing with." From the alarm in the tone of voice, this doesn't sound like any normal thing.
